THERE were lots of saints and no sinners as the greatest story ever told came to a Greeock east end primary.

Talented tots at All Saints starred as they celebrated the true meaning of Christmas with their wonderful nativity show.

The little ones sang their hearts out as they took to the stage for their play, entitled 'Prickly Hay'.

The children performed in front of their classmates on Monday ahead of a special show for their families on Wednesday.

Mums and dads packed into the school to enjoy a Christmas cracker of a show.

Charlene Alexander, who is one of the primary two teachers, said the pupils worked very hard to bring the nativity to life.

She said: "The children have worked very well together as a team to build up the nativity and to perform together.

"Performing in the show not only builds their confidence but it develops all their core skills such as their music skills.

"They also loved their parents coming to see them."
