A GREENOCK woman facing allegations of racial abuse, assault and shoplifting has maintained pleas of not guilty at the town's sheriff court.

Pamela Bradley, 35, of Murray Street, is said to have acted in a racially aggressive manner towards two employees at Boots in the Oak Mall.

Prosecutors say she also shouted, swore, made threats of violence and attempted to headbutt and bite one employee on January 30 last year.

It is alleged that Bradley stole cosmetics from the shop.

She is set to stand trial on the matters on February 28.
