AN outdoor film screening takes place in Greenock on Friday night.
The upper car park on Broomhill Way will be the location for the first look at a creative movement production created by professional dancer and choreographer Laura Fisher in collaboration with local residents.
The film was made as part of the 'Up the Broomy' project, led by RIG Arts in partnership with River Clyde Homes and Creative Scotland, to celebrate the community's rich history to coincide with the ongoing multi-million regeneration of the area.
It will be beamed onto the rear of The Broomhill Tavern.
The film, 'On Prospecthill: Portraits of Broomhill', features original music from Greenock composer Fergus Hall in collaboration with cellist and musician Sarah McWhinney.
It was created following recent creative movement workshops, exploring dance and movement as a way of expression, at Broomhill Gardens and Community Hub.
The screening, which is free to attend, starts at 6pm and there will be hot drinks.
It is a standing event but seating is available by calling RIG Arts on 649359, email info@rigarts.org, by messaging the organisation's Facebook page.
