WEATHER forecasters have issued a warning of snow for Inverclyde.
The Met Office says wintry conditions are due to sweep into the district over the weekend.
They have issued a yellow warning which kicks in at 4am tomorrow.
It will be in effect until 9pm that night.
A spell of rain and snow is expected and there could potentially be travel disruption as a result.
The latest warning comes after the area was hit by stormy weather earlier in the week.
Storm Gareth caused travel problems, with all three local ferry crossings called off, and structural damage was also reported.
The good news is that Sunday is expected to be much better, with sunny intervals and a moderate breeze and temperatures reaching nine degrees.
