TWO men were rushed to hospital after being attacked in a Greenock pub.
The incident happened at Lithgows Bar in Cathcart Street just before 11pm on Friday night.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Young of Greenock CID said a 19-year-old man was seriously assaulted and a 20-year-old male also assaulted.
DS Young said: “The incident happened within the toilet at Lithgows Bar in Greenock just before 11pm.
“There were two injured parties who both went to hospital with lacerations to the head.
“One of the males was a 19-year-old who was seriously injured and a 20-year-old sustained injuries which were not serious.
“No weapons were involved.”
Two males aged 18 and 17 have been arrested and are due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court but the Police are still looking for a third male.
DS Young added: “A third male is believed to be involved who the Police are looking to trace.”
Detectives are scanning CCTV and are appealing for any witnesses who were in the pub at the time to contact Greenock Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
