DOG owners have reacted with anger after rabbit traps were found all over a popular walking route.
The traps, which can cause serious injury to animals and children, have been set around Coves Reservoir, across from Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
One dog owner contacted the Telegraph to raise the alarm.
She said: "People should know about this.
"A dog off its lead or even someone walking could easily be badly injured.
"It is such a stupid thing for someone to do. Whoever is responsible should be ashamed of themselves."
Pet owners have been urged to be extra vigilant or avoid the area.
