MORTON'S chief executive Warren Hawke has left the club, the Tele can reveal.
Hawke has resigned and leaves his job at Cappielow with immediate effect.
The former Ton player has also quit as a director.
News of his departure comes hot on the heels of the dramatic exit of manager Jonatan Johansson and his assistant Peter Houston just two hours before the kick-off of Saturday's match against Dundee United.
The 48-year-old, who had two spells with Ton as a player, returned to the club in 2012, initially taking on a role as consultant before being appointed chief executive and joining the board.
He oversaw the establishment of the club's youth academy and launched its successful community trust, which has grown substantially over recent years.
Morton are yet to make any comment since the surprise events before Saturday's match but this latest departure leaves the club with no management team on or off the park.
The club said on Saturday that an announcement would be made after the game but no statement has been released since.
