Boat that sank off Gourock to be destroyed - unless owner can be found
A BOAT that sank at Gourock Ferry Terminal will be destroyed - unless its owner can be found within seven days.
The he recreational vessel ‘Lynda K’ sustained hull damage and sank at the terminal on April 19.
Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd, the harbour authority for the port, recovered the vessel and now have it in storage.
A spokesperson said: "Any person claiming ownership or having knowledge of the owner is requested to contact the CMAL harbour master within the next seven days.
"Failure to establish ownership will result in disposal of the vessel."
