EVERYTHING was mellow yellow at a very bright Blairmore Nursery as children took part in a fun-filled fundraising day for Ardgowan Hospice.
The yellow-clad youngsters made love heart Play-Doh 'cookies', built with yellow stickle bricks, played with a multitude of yellow toys and even got messy on a table covered with shaving foam and yellow paint.
Each of the centre's 70 children paid £1 towards the special 'Go Yellow' event while parents tucked into colourful cake and enjoyed teas and coffees.
Head teacher Marie Crawford said: "This is our third year of raising money for the hospice during the Go Yellow month of May.
"Everyone really embraces it.
"The children really enjoy fundraising and the whole nursery gets involved."
One parent said: "I think most families have got some connection with the hospice so everyone is more than happy to do their bit and contribute to the superb care it provides."
Additional money was taken in on the day through a raffle for yellow goodies, including toys and sweets, and a bake sale, with the final tally yet to be totted up and sent off.
