BARGAIN-HUNTERS flocked to a table-top sale held at Inverkip Parish Church hall.
There were stalls selling bric-a-brac, household items and clothes.
As well as savvy sellers, local churches and charities also benefited from the event.
Organiser Jean Benson said: "The sale went off really well.
"We had 20 tables full of goodies ranging from card crafts, jewellery and knitted goods to all imaginable items for the home and quality children's clothes.
"We were delighted to welcome members of Mount Church in Greenock who had a stall with a wide selection of items.
"A couple of Inverkip Church members ran a book stall in aid of Inverclyde Family Contact Centre raising the terrific sum of £140."
The book stall was such a success that there are plans to continue the book sales every month after the church services, starting on June 2.
Inverkip Church also raised £169 from table rents and tea sales.
Jean said: "We would like to thank everyone who supported the sale."
