SPORTY school pupils jumped for joy after they received a special donation.
The children from Inverkip Primary School were thrilled to receive a cheque for £500 plus water bottles and other goodies from staff at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Gourock.
The donation was delivered to the pupils at an assembly which also celebrated the recent achievements of the athletics team who won the West of Scotland Championships for the fourth year in a row.
Gavin Morrison, who is the general manager at Amazon Gourock, said: “Inverkip Primary School is a wonderful school and the team had a great time during the visit.
"It’s easy to see why the pupils love their school so much and we are glad we can support the staff and pupils with this donation."
Mrs Diane Renfrew, who is the head teacher of Inverkip Primary School, added: “We are very happy to have received this donation from Amazon in Gourock.
"We are thrilled that the Amazon team had the opportunity to visit Inverkip Primary School and get a feel for what we do here."
