A PORT primary opened its doors to let families have lots of summer fun.
The whole of Newark Primary School was turned into a playground with stalls, games, face painting and much more to enjoy in and around the grounds.
Youngsters enjoyed games of football and got into the spirit by dressing up.
There was a even a star appearance from the special guests - local firefighters who brought an engine along from their station and showed the children the ropes.
St Andrew's First Aid were also in attendance to put people through their paces when it comes to saving lives.
Youngsters with big smiles on their faces enjoyed all the fun and games along with their parents.
Now the Port primary school is busy building up for the start of the new term.
Classes start back at the school next week following the summer break.
