THEMED activities from children's TV show In The Night Garden were a huge hit with all ages at a creative class.

The ARTventurers summer session held at Funworld in Greenock saw parents and their kids have a great time.

The colourful and creative art classes run by Gourock mum Cheryl Gray aim to develop creativity.

She provided inspiration and materials to explore and experiment with so that the children learn how to express themselves through art and sensory activities.

Throughout the summer Cheryl has run a series of different themed classes.

The Night Garden one saw parents and children explore the world of the telly favourite.

Character Iggle Piggle was squished, squashed, crushed and splattered and the children used their fingers to fill up buckets and pour them out.

They also made their own handprint pictures.

The session ended with everyone catching bubbles and wearing their Iggle Piggle hats and Upsy Daisy hair.

Cheryl said: “We had such a lot of fun during our In the Night Garden themed session.

“All the children loved the scooping and pouring activities and catching the bubbles.”

Cheryl is now looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the new term.
