SCORES of new homes are set to be built on the site of a former Greenock school.
Council planners have recommended approval for a proposed development on the land previously occupied by King's Glen Primary.
Cloch Housing Association wants to build 57 houses — a mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties — on the site.
There are to be terraced and semi-detached two-storey homes as well as cottage flats.
Each property will have a front and rear garden and off-street parking, with access for vehicles coming via a new junction on Kilmacolm Road and a footpath link to Cardross Crescent.
