WARRINGTON Town have been given an away tie in the next round of this year's FA Cup.

Paul Carden's side will travel to Northamptonshire-based National League North Brackley Town in the third qualifying round.

The tie will be played on Saturday, October 5, with a 3pm kick off.

Warrington can double their FA Cup prize money for this season with a victory, with third qualifying round winners being awarded £11,250. Losers are given £3,750.

Town are just two victories away from reaching the first round proper for only the second time in their history - the first being back in the 2014-15 season when they famously beat Football League side Exeter City at Cantilever Park.

Yellows reached this stage of the competition by knocking out FC United of Manchester on Saturday.
