A HOME has been badly damaged after electrical faults triggered a serious fire.
Firecrews from Warrington were called to the house in York Avenue on Saturday at about 2.30pm.
They located the fire in a first floor bedroom and wearing four breathing apparatus used two hose reels to fight the flames.
A number of properties close by were checked by crews and were also found to have been affected by heat and smoke damage.
