A FUN filled healthy holiday for all the family didn't cost the earth at clubs across Inverclyde.
Local authority bosses continued with a hugely popular programme of holiday hubs to help cut the cost of the school break.
In St John's Primary in Port Glasgow, like several other venues in the area, there were activities for children of all ages.
Sports, games and quieter activities were on offer as well as a chance to spend quality time together.
At the end of the session families sat down around the table for a hearty lunch.
Children could also get creative and messy in craft activities.
The successful holiday hubs, funded through the Inverclyde Attainment Challenge, bring together a range of services including Active Schools and working with community centres.
Their aim is to pack in as many different activities as possible and make it an unforgettable experience.
It is part of a wider priority to help families by reducing the financial burden of the holiday break while also giving children the chance to play.
This year programme ran during the October break for the first time, in addition to the Easter and summer sessions.
A variety of local venues hosted the sessions including schools, community centres and the Beacon.
