TWO soulmates went 'Back to the Future' to tie the knot in Greenock.

Groom-to-be Bryan Conway travelled in style to his wedding in a DeLorean – the motor made famous in the 1985 flick starring Michael J Fox.

The replica of the time-hopping machine driven in the film by Fox, as Marty McFly, and Christopher Lloyd, playing Doc Brown, arrived outside the Gourock home of 34-year-old Bryan and whisked him to The Tontine Hotel.

There was no need to try out its time-bending abilities as Bryan, who is a finance assistant at Inverclyde Council, tied the knot with wife Victoria without a hitch.

Victoria, 29, who works as a nursery nurse at St Columba's in Kilmacolm, said: "We got engaged three years ago and we discussed different themes we wanted to do.

"Originally we thought about an autumn theme but Bryan loves Back to the Future - he knows every word of the film.

"We thought how amazing it would be to have a DeLorean car.

"Bryan also loves Doctor Who so we also had a full size tardis at the wedding.

"Everybody loved it."

The couple, who live in Weymouth Crescent, met six years through friends and have not looked back.

They are now planning a special honeymoon.

Victoria said: "We're hoping to book something so we can go away later in the year."

The new Mr & Mrs Conway would like to thank their family and friends and everyone who made their wedding day so special.
