WRESTLING fans will enjoy non-stop action at Greenock Town Hall when they are treated to a show with ‘maximum impact'.

Big names including Grado, US star Sugar Dunkerton and BBC star Jack Jester will take to the ring for the Premier British Wrestling show at the town hall on Saturday November 9.

But the biggest cheers will undoubtedly be reserved for four Greenock wrestling stars - Darren Vice, John Trettan, Craig Anthony and Lucha DS.

Local favourite Lucha DS said: "We're looking forward to our home town show.

"It's taking place on the sixth anniversary of when we started training in Greenock, so it's a big deal.

"The Greenock show is one of the marquee shows of the year.

"Premier British Wrestling have organised 60 plus shows already this year and there's a couple that stand out - the Greenock show is always one of the main ones."

It promises to be a big night for local wrestlers Darren Vice and John Trettan, who will team up to challenge for the tag team belt against current champions Craig Anthony and Kieran Kelly.

Darren, whose real name is Chris Arkley, can't wait for the action to begin.

The 18-year-old from Port Glasgow said: "The show is a family friendly event - it's for all ages.

"It's always an action packed night of professional wrestling."

John Christie, whose stage surname is Trettan, is excited about the thought of doing battle in front of a home crowd.

He told the Tele: "I remember being in the crowd watching the show and now I'm in it."

Tickets for the show can be purchased locally at the Beacon Arts Centre box office and they are priced at £14 for an adult and £10 for a child.
