WHINHILL Primary mixed some Strictly Come Dancing with the nativity story - and scored a perfect ten from their audience.

The primary ones took to the stage for their show 'Lights Camel Action! Strictly the Nativity'.

There was no footwork out of step as the cast performed to perfection.

They covered the floor like pros with some support from their backing singers from primary two and three.

To finish off the full production there was a hard-working team behind the scenes and some help from the flanks with narration.

Head teacher Liz Ruddy said: "Our audience absolutely loved it.

"The children's storytelling, singing and dancing was outstanding.

"We are very proud of all our primary ones, twos and threes.

"They are great ambassadors for our school and reminded everyone what Christmas is really all about."

Bethlehem was the setting for the Strictly spectacular as the birth of Jesus was celebrated by the whole school.

The performance had a modern twist and the inn-keepers did a tango with some funk, jive, line dancing and disco in between from the shepherds and angels.

Even the Craig Revel Horwood-inspired judge Caesar struggled to find any faults during the three-show run.
