MORTON new boy Kris Doolan says he is excited by the prospect of firing Morton up the table after penning a deal until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old joined this morning after leaving Ayr United last week and hopes to hit the ground running against Queen of the South on Saturday.
He told the Tele: “I’m really looking forward to it and hopefully I can get going as quickly as possible.
“It’s a chance for me to get back playing regularly and back in among the goals - and of course I hope that I can help push Morton up the table.
“It’s a tight league, one that is extremely difficult to get out of.
"Obviously staying safe is our main priority, but you can’t help look at the table and think it is all still to play for with regards the play-offs, especially with the form the team have been in recently.”
See tomorrow's Tele for the full interview with the new Ton hitman.
