A MOREBUS has been involved in a crash with a cyclist in Pokesdown this afternoon.
Police and paramedics were in Christchurch Road after the incident.
Armed officers wereamong those at the scene.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "Emergency services were called to a collision involving a bus and a cyclist in Christchurch Road at the junction with Parkwood Road this afternoon.
"We were called to the scene at 1.40pm."
Mike Freeborn, Morebus assistant operations manager, said: "One of our buses was involved in a minor collision with a cyclist while operating the M2 route in Boscombe.
"Early reports suggest the cyclist emerged from Parkwood Road and cut across while the bus was passing. The cyclist was injured and an ambulance took them to hospital for further checks.
"No one on board the bus was injured.
"Police were also at the scene and, after completing their enquiries, allowed the service to continue back to Poole."
