A PROJECT which aims to deliver 800 meals a day to people in need across the district has now raised over £3,000.
In April, Inverclyde Community Action Response Group (ICARG) teamed up with the Salvation Army and pledged to deliver 800 meals a day for six weeks.
The team asked members of the public to donate 80p each to fund a meal.
In just four weeks, over £3,200 has been raised, with meals being donated to hundreds of people who are struggling.
