A LOCKDOWN 'house party' was shut down by police on Monday night.
Officers responded to a noise complaint regarding a property on Leitch Street in Gibshill at around 10pm.
No fewer than seven police vehicles were sent to the scene.
Sergeant Jason Logsdon, of Greenock police, said: "There was a report of music and an ongoing house party.
"Police attended, however, no significant issues were noted and the householder was informed of a complaint about music."
