THE council's coronavirus extra costs bill is rising rapidly.
Since mid-March the Covid-19 crisis has cost the local authority around £1.6m.
This does not include an expected drop-off in council tax collection and the financial impact of reduction applications for the charge.
It does not take account of the finances related to some health and social care services either, meaning the true figure will be significantly greater.
