A 21-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences after allegedly abandoning his vehicle following a police chase through a town.
On May 27 at around 8.30pm, officers were pursuing a black VW Golf in Whalley Street, Blackburn.
The police had attempted to stop the vehicle but it was driven off and abandoned in a nearby car park not long after.
Police arrested a man after they found a passport and ID in the car.
A spokesperson for the police said: "The driver of the Golf, 21-year-old Dhanish Shazad of Calder Street, Blackburn, has been charged with failing to stop for police, driving without a licence, driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance."
