FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a blaze at a Port Glasgow farm house in the middle of the night.
Crews from both Port Glasgow and Greenock were alerted to the emergency in the early hours of Wednesday.
The fire in the single storey property started around 3am.
A Scottish Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were alerted to reports of a fire within a single storey house on Woodhead Road, Port Glasgow.
“Operations control mobilised two fire appliances and firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
