POLICE say that they uncovered a large sum of cash and drugs after stopping a driver in a Greenock street.
During a search carried out by officers in Nelson Street they are alleged to have found cannabis as well as an as-yet unidentified white powder, along with the sum of £1,800.
The driver was stopped at 6.30pm on Wednesday.
A 24-year-old is now set to appear in court facing charges in relation to the offences, as well as failing a drug driving test.
