THE drive-through Covid-19 test unit for health and social care staff has now closed.
It was established in April and based outside Port Glasgow Health Centre.
Members of the public had repeatedly raised concerns about an apparent lack of activity at the site.
From now on, tests for health and care key workers will be carried out at the coronavirus community assessment centre which is located within Greenock Health Centre.
Meanwhile a mobile unit staffed by the Army remains operating in Inverclyde at present for the use of members of the general public.
