INVERCLYDE has recorded its first week with no coronavirus deaths since the outbreak began back in March.
Following 11 successive weeks of Covid-19 fatalities, none were recorded in the seven days to last Sunday.
It means the district's death toll remains at 112.
Most victims of the outbreak, 62, have died in hospital, while 38 passed away in care establishments and the rest at home.
The death rate peaked locally at the beginning of April, when 26 people died in a single week.
