TWO men have been arrested in connection with a weekend serious assault in Greenock.
Police say that a man and woman were left with severe injuries following an attack outside a house in Jura Street.
Officers report that weapons were used during an attack which left the 30-year-old male victim in Inverclyde Royal while the 33-year-old woman also sustained injuries.
It happened just before 2am on Saturday.
