CATHOLIC churches across Inverclyde will now re-open for private prayer on Sunday June 28.
This is a week later than expected, following the announcement by the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon last Thursday.
St Mary's Church will open between 11am and 2pm for private prayer, and at the same times on July 5.
From Monday funeral masses can be arranged to be celebrated in the church, with participants limited to 12.
