A TOTAL of 80 laptop computers have been gifted to primary seven pupils in Inverclyde to 'bridge the digital divide'.
The Co-op shops at Eldon Street in Greenock and Cardwell Road in Gourock have decided to boost the funds of the Belville Community Garden charity to allow them to buy devices to enable more pupils to work at home during the schools shutdown.
The grateful charity said they were 'so grateful for the support from the Co-op'.
