INVERCLYDE'S MP grilled the Prime Minister in parliament about businesses exploiting the Job Retention Scheme.
Ronnie Cowan asked Boris Johnson about what was being done to prevent companies abusing the furlough scheme introduced by the UK Government as a result of COVID-19.
The Prime Minister responded that he would look into the matter by studying a Bill brought forward by Mr Cowan's SNP colleague, Gavin Newlands, which seeks to block any 'fire and re-hire' bids.
