A MAN was left covered in blood after allegedly being battered by two men outside a shop in Greenock.
The alleged serious assault took place outside the Day Today store in East Crawford Street at 3.15pm on Friday.
A 39-year-old man sustained lacerations to his face and was taken to Inverclyde Royal for treatment.
Two men, aged 41 and 43, have been arrested and now face prosecution.
