Greenock police station
A WOMAN has been arrested following a spate of hoax calls made to Greenock police.
Officers say they received multiple phone calls on Monday from a woman reporting an ongoing fight involving a man with a knife.
It's alleged she also made a separate call stating that a man had been stabbed on West Stewart Street.
Officers found the 32-year-old female standing close to where the incidents were alleged to have taken place.
She now faces prosecution.
