Greenock police station
A TEENAGER was arrested following an alleged assault in Gourock on Tuesday night.
Police attended an incident in Larkfield Road at around 10pm following a report of a group of youths assaulting another.
When officers arrived, the group allegedly began shouting at police.
Police identified a 17-year-old male as responsible for the assault and state that he became aggressive and abusive towards officers.
He was detained for alleged assault, breach of the peace and resisting arrest and will be subject of a report to the fiscal.
