HUNDREDS of young carers in Inverclyde can benefit from a share of £300,000 of Scottish Government funding to assist during the pandemic.
MSP Stuart McMillan is urging them to take advantage of the support.
He said: "I welcome this package of support to provide as many young carers as possible with access to e-vouchers, subscription packages and short breaks that can help improve their quality of life during this time.
"Anyone aged between 16 and 18 who spends more than 16 hours per week caring for a person in receipt of certain disability benefits can apply – and I would encourage them to do so."
