HOUSING associations in Inverclyde are set to advertise their properties again as the district emerges from lockdown.
Cloch, Oak Tree, Larkfield, Link and Sanctuary are making homes available on the Inverclyde Common Housing Register (ICHR) from July 10 onwards.
Strict new safety measures will be in effect, including a contactless allocations procedure to remove or reduce face-to-face meetings between staff and potential tenants.
A new and improved online application form has been developed and launched as well.
People who already have an active application do not need to reapply.
In a statement, ICHR said: "These changes were introduced following a customer consultation process back in 2018.
"The main changes to the policy include an introduction of homelessness points categories and also the option for applicants to apply for an extra bedroom if their children have an eight-year age gap."
