SPORTY kids at St Columba's School in Kilmacolm have raised £5,000 for a cause close to their hearts.
Pupils were asked to run, walk, cycle or swim 10k to support Belville Community Garden's campaign to provide laptops and wifi dongles for children in Inverclyde so they can continue their education at home during lockdown.
They collected sponsorship cash during the challenge and the proceeds will now help the local charity to bridge the divide in digital resources across local households.
