PLAYERS from a local amateur football team who have been running to raise cash for a mental health support group have smashed through the £5,000 mark.
Six players from St Francis' FC completed their individual 300 kilometre challenges and their team-mates accompanied them for a 10k.
The money is going to Morton in the Community's TeamTalk initiative, which helps local men tackle mental health issues.
