PROPERTY prices in Inverclyde's rural and urban areas are tracking at different levels compared to the national average.
Between 2018 and 2020, the purchase price in rural parts of the district was above the national average, while the reverse was true in our built-up towns.
According to Registers of Scotland the average price of a rural property in Inverclyde was around £220,000 - just above the national average of £210,754.
In urban areas, the average price of an Inverclyde home was about £120,000 - around £40,000 less than the national average of £167,313.
