A GOUROCK resident believes there's a way for local residents to drive seagulls out of town.
Margaret Doak, who lives in John Street, contacted the Tele after she read our story about Ashley Somerville and her dog Rolo being attacked by seagulls on Broomberry Drive.
Margaret had spikes fitted on her chimney around five years ago, stopping gulls from nesting.
Margaret said: "We need to try to do things to drive them away from the centre of town.
"I love birds and I put food out for smaller ones, but they don't stand a chance with the seagulls.
"They're beautiful looking birds but it would be good if they would leave us alone."
