TRIBUTES have been paid to a leading West College Scotland director who lost his long battle with cancer.
Director of communications Diarmid O'Hara was instrumental in helping deliver changes following James Watt College's merger.
Principal Liz Connolly said: "Diarmid joined West College Scotland not long after merger and made a real and significant impact on our college from the day he started right up until the end.
"He was liked and respected by all of his colleagues and our board."
MP Ronnie Cowan, said he was saddened by Mr O'Hara's death, adding: "Diarmid's contribution to the advancement of West College Scotland was always welcomed."
