TWO women have been arrested and held in custody after another female was allegedly seriously assaulted in Gourock at the weekend.
Police were called to a property on Shore Street at around 2pn on Saturday following reports of a group of women fighting within the address.
It is alleged that a mirror was smashed during the incident and one woman sustained a serious injury to one of her arms as a result.
Two women, aged 55 and 38, have been reported to the fiscal.
