A SUICIDE prevention group is making plans after it secured a permanent home within Greenock.

Man On Inverclyde, founded by Chris Paul earlier this year, will be moving into premises at Dellingburn Industrial Estate after agreeing a lease with property firm Bowman Rebecchi.

The community interest company will be using the space to hold meetings and one-to-one chats and as a place for men to come together to tackle the alarming rate of male suicides.

Chris said: "We're delighted to secure these new premises following an exhaustive search locally.

"Instead of needing to meet people in parks we are now able to bring them into a safe, secure and private environment to help them at their time of need.

"We’d like to thank Andrew and Marco at Bowman Rebecchi for helping us to secure the premises quickly and efficiently."

The 750 sq ft offices are owned by local businessmen Sandy and James Easdale’s Dalglen Property Investments.
