PEOPLE across Inverclyde left feeling vulnerable and isolated due to the pandemic can now learn new skills at home thanks to a funding boost.

River Clyde Homes and the Inverclyde Community Action Response Group (ICARG) have received money from the Scottish Government Wellbeing Fund.

They'll use the cash to create activity packs for people who have been stuck at home during lockdown.

The packs will be full of equipment and materials needed for activities such as gardening, arts and crafts and cooking.

Heather Mitchell, inclusive communities manager at RCH, said: "We know that many customers are feeling isolated during this time, especially those who are shielding, and hope that these packs will help to alleviate some of this."

Packs are limited to two per person.
