A TENNIS organisation which helps get Inverclyde families out on court has netted a significant cash boost from the National Lottery.
The Judy Murray Foundation has been awarded £6,000 through National Lottery Awards for All Scotland - a joint awards programme run by the National Lottery Community Fund and sportscotland.
The foundation will use the money to run free family tennis sessions and a 12-day training programme for local youngsters across Inverclyde.
Foundation chief executive, Melodie Crumlin, said: "This funding will help the foundation provide accessible tennis opportunities that are community-led - free, fun and on the doorstep of young people and families within the Inverclyde area.
"Sport and physical activity has the power to change people’s lives."
