A MAN aged 55 is accused of trying to steal in the Oak Mall.
Police were alerted after a prowler was spotted trying to access secure areas in the Greenock shopping centre last Thursday.
They attended at 1.40pm and made an arrest.
The man now faces prosecution, with a report sent to the fiscal.
