MEMBERS of the public have a chance to honour Inverclyde's high street heroes by recognising their efforts to support the area during the Covid-19 pandemic.
People are asked to nominate a local person, business or organisation, going above and beyond to support their community.
The awards are being organised as part of the Scotland Loves Local campaign, which encourages shoppers across the country to back businesses in their own town centre before travelling further afield or turning to online retail giants.
It is being led by Scotland’s Towns Partnership, with the support of the Scottish Government.
To nominate someone visit https://lovelocal.scot/high-street-heroes/ by 5pm on September 11.
